| On Friday night Alex Zvitman, his wife Leda, parents and son Eyal, 5, were celebrating Leda's birthday. "He kissed me and told me how much he loved me. I went to bring something from the kitchen and returned to see his back. He got the message and went out so quickly," she says. An hour after he left home, three men appeared on the doorstep with the news of his death. "I shouted 'no,' but they nodded and didn't have to say a word," she said. The couple moved to Kiryat Arba from Jerusalem eight years ago. Zvitman, an immigrant from the Ukraine, joined the settlement's security force and spent all his time in security checks. Zvitman was buried Sunday afternoon.
